2024 NEW 20/20 Chocolate Jobito 70% (San Felipe - Venezuela) Dark Organic Chocolate Bar
JOBITO Our newest bar was crafted with beans from our own farm in Venezuela, near Jobito. Located in San Felipe, at the gates of the Yurubi National Park. This region has a tradition of growing cacao for over 300 years. These cacao trees grow under the shade of “Centenario” Trees.
The tasting notes are: coconut, sarrapia, spices, citric fruits.
It’s an area with a long tradition of growing beans even before the colonial era of the country
Jobito is a bar that comes form our farm (@lacocorotacacao) which is located in Jobito, Yaracuy. Think of it as the Yaracuy bar but even more exclusive, similar to a single estate rather than a mix of different farms in Yaracuy. So yeah we own and operate the farm and are very proud of the bar. Tasting notes: coconut, sarrapia, spices, and citric fruits. Some people have described it as Smokey and a good pairing to whiskey
We have 3 farms in Venezuela. Where we do and handle all the harvest and post harvesting processes. Aside from that, we offer tours for local tourist on weekends where they can learn more about cacao/chocolate and this history of it in our country. One of our farms (@lacocorotacacao) also counts with about 8 rooms for guests to stay overnight. It is a very relaxing experience and you get to be around the plantation. We also serve food and some special cacao inspired recipes. Feel free to check that account to see a bit more about it!
And aside from that, we work with many other small producers in the country (we only use beans from Venezuela). We like to have a variety of origins from our country that allow us to showcase different flavors and tell different stories
