Between the coastal mountains of Venezuela and the Caribbean lies the coastal village of Ocumare, Protected from the outside world with a steep coastal mountain range home to many rare and exotic birds and animals, and harbored alongside clear, turquoise water. Since the 1700’s, Ocumare has been famous for its flavorful criollo cocoa beans. To create this milk chocolate, I hand selected the best cocoa from this region.

The richness of the beans from the village of Ocumare, tempered with organic milk, creates a delicate chocolate I treasure for its perfectly balanced flavors of milk and cocoa. If you passionately seek fine flavored milk chocolate, as I do, this chocolate is for you.

CACAO SOURCING

The cacao beans Amano uses are sourced directly from cacao farms by creator and founder Art Pollard.  Art sometimes works with the farmers to help them create the best fermentation and drying of their beans.
