From the Maker

This unique chocolate is made from rare Peruvian white cacao, known as Piura Blanco, native to this region. Don Ramon processes beans from his 120-year-old farm in the village of La Pareja and is the founder of the local growers association. This dark chocolate is brimming with fruity sweetness and notes of bright lemon sherbert and blackberries mellowing to toffee apple and almond.

Pump Street’s Story

“Having immersed ourselves in baking for years, we have now turned our all-consuming focus on quality to chocolate. We make small batch chocolate from beans imported directly by us from family farms and cooperatives around the world.

We believe that using only the highest quality ingredients, along with obsessive attention to detail in production, yields the most delicious bread and pastries - and the same applies for chocolate.

We are proud to bring you the best that bread and chocolate has to offer.

We work with single estates and cooperatives around the world. We source beans directly from cocoa farmers with whom we have a sustained and reciprocal relationship. Paying prices far greater than fairtrade, directly to the growers ensures a lasting impact for farmers and their community and makes our chocolate fully transparent and traceable.”
